All Grown Up

After many beers Boomie was ready for her first ride on 4th of July. I was very nervous that her massive 150lb self would knock me down, but I was able to control her until... we hit a pot hole and the trailer dragged on the ground (damn Oakland).

I was almost ready to throw in the towel, but the very helpful team at Wandertec informed me that I had the trailer on wrong. What a relief!


After fixing the trailer I was able to pull off a successful test ride. Now she is ready for her first BIKE PARTY! ROAR!!!

Come ride with us this Friday, July 8th at the East Bay Bike Party meeting at Lake Merritt BART at 8pm.
 

And she carries hula hoops too!

    Do you still use the K10 and that system? I'm thinking about trying with a k8 and mounting it on the rear rack (no trailer). Lithium batteries have gotten quite a bit cheaper since you made these posts and I might go that route to save on weight.
